CAMDEN AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO SELECT 2010 CITIZEN & JR. CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS

The Camden Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations and applications for this year¹s Citizen & Jr. Citizen of the Year Awards to be presented at our Annual Dinner Sat., May 15 at the McConnellsville Golf Course.

The Citizen of the Year Award is open to any resident of the Camden area over 22 years old who has shown exemplary citizenship. Names, accompanied by their qualifications, may be submitted to the Camden Area Chamber of Commerce, Attn: Citizen of the Year Nominating Committee, PO Box 134, Camden, NY 13316.

Jr. Citizen of the Year Award is available to all Camden High School Senior Students. To be considered, we ask that the student submit a short essay noting his or her participation in community and school events, clubs, sports, programs, organizations and other ways that have shown good citizenship. Include any special recognition that has been received, offices that may have been held, projects that have been worked on, and any other contributions that have been given to your community and school. Applications for Jr. Citizen of the Year are available at and must be returned to the Camden High School Guidance Office. All nominations and applications for Citizen and Jr. Citizen must be received by Friday, April 16.
