CAMDEN YARDS

"Camden Yards" began play on April 29, 1995. Certainly one of the many treasures of our community. This 14 acre, half million dollar sports complex located within the village features baseball fields complete with a press box, concession stand and pavilion. The complex also offers a playground for children, basketball courts and a tennis court. The complex is owned by the Town of Camden and scheduled and maintained by Camden Little League.

LIBRARY

Camden is proud of its modern library. The library is now undergoing a renovation program to increase its size, add new volumes and expand the existing parking lot. The library is a member of Mid-York Library System from which through inter-library loans materials from over 170 libraries in three counties can be ordered. The library also offers a community meeting room for organizational meetings and events.

CARRIAGE HOUSE MUSEUM

Founded in 1970 by the Queen Village Historical Society, the museum houses information and artifacts directly related to the history of Camden: its citizens, government, transportation, industry, business, church and social affairs, educational institutes and cultural activities. A recent addition to the museum is the Dibbletown Schoolhouse, the re-creation of a local one-room schoolhouse. The museum has become a valuable source of information for genealogists locally and nationwide.
